Simmons Condemns Nazi Flyer

RED HILL – Rep. Justin Simmons (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) and many others in the Upper Perkiomen Valley this week received a flyer in the mail promoting Nazi ideals and a neo-Nazi website. The flyer was sent to his district office in Red Hill.

Simmons to Host Opioid Awareness Seminar on Sept. 28

COOPERSBURG – In an effort to increase the community’s understanding of the drug crisis in the Lehigh Valley, state Rep. Justin Simmons (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) will host an Opioid Awareness Seminar on Thursday, Sept. 28, at the Southern Lehigh Middle School Auditorium, 3715 Preston Lane in Center Valley. The panel discussion will run from 6-8 p.m. No reservation is required to attend the free event.

Simmons Says “No” To Unbalanced Budget, Borrowing to Pay for Current Expenditures

HARRISBURG – Rep. Justin Simmons (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) last week voted “no” to the spending portion of the 2017-18 state budget package because it most likely will require the borrowing of up to $2 billion to match revenue with expenses. Simmons also stated that he will vote against the revenue portion of the budget should it include this borrowing.

Simmons Announces State Grant for Sewer System Improvements in Emmaus

Simmons Announces State Grant for Emmaus Public Library

HARRISBURG –The Emmaus Public Library has been awarded a $500,000 state grant through the Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund, Rep.
